Ahmed Safari Camp & Hotel Bahariya Oasis

We stayed two nights in total on a tour of the White and Black Deserts, one night in the desert and one night at a hotel. The total cost was $175 (per person, including the White Desert entrance fee), with transportation from Giza included. The transfer vehicle arrived exactly on time, which was very convenient. The food at the hotel and in the desert was delicious, but be prepared for large portions. The desert tour offered many activities and checkpoints, making for a very satisfying experience. The desert night sky, in particular, was truly beautiful and something you can only experience there. The room had a refrigerator and the shower facilities were adequate. It takes about an hour to walk from the village center, so if you plan to go to town, you might want to inquire about transportation. Overall, it was a very good place to stay, but be sure to take adequate precautions against flies.

Nicely decorated hotel where the rooms are housed in houses or buildings that are executed in various styles or shapes. Friendly service. Neat but otherwise simple rooms. Sadly it is a bit far from the town of al-Bawiti.
