Egypt Desert Camping

I came here with my cousin and our friends, for a night in the white, the black, and the Sahara dessert. We were immediately treated like family, driving through the desert listening to wonderful music and learning about the history of all the beauty around us. Mohammed and Fox (who gets his name from his amazing and hilarious relationship with the little desert foxes) took great care of us. If you are coming to Egypt, this is a once in a life time experience you should not miss out on! ♥️

In March 2022, I did a group tour to the Sahara Desert with the Bedouin Men - Mohammed and his brothers/colleagues. They exemplified Bedouin values - their hospitality, rich oral poetry, music and deep connection with the ecosystem of the Sahara guided our entire 3 day trip. The tent-cooked meals, fresh hot mint tea, and adventurous drive through various parts of the desert including the crystal mountains and black mountains. I loved and appreciated every memory created with Mohammed and his Bedouin family.

We had a great joy on our four day desert camping tour. We were more than lucky with our guides Mahmoud and Hamida. We didn't even feel like they were hired guides, but more a true desert people that share with us their days. Everything was planned very well and they calculated timing perfectly to bring us to the airport on time. Food was great, places, atmosphere. The only thing we would improve is to go for Sand dunes boarding later in the day, when the sand is not so hot as at noon. We wanted to try more of it, but it was difficult to tolerate the hot sand, it was already quite painful since our skin is not used to it. Excelent experience. We visited so many amazing places including the white desert, bkack desert and the Djara cave. Our guides Mahamoud and Hamida were very knowledgeable of the desert and very good cooks. We had a fantastic time. I recommend this camping. Amazing experience. Beautiful places and great people.
