a month ago8-day Luxor-Aswan cruise. Extreme pollution (soot and exhaust fumes) from these large ships following each other (I counted 15, either following each other or racing?). You can't stay on deck for more than 30 minutes, despite the beautiful scenery (don't zoom in too much on the dilapidated state of many things, towns and streets). However, the interior of the ship was very clean and spacious. Food was okay. Mineral water was okay. Ours was called "Stéphanie," 120 seats. The myth of cruises? Yes, if you don't see the pollution and extreme filth outside of tourist areas like Luxor, Kom Ombo, Abu Simbel... but some sites (Memphis) remain neglected and dirty. I'm being harsh, but perhaps attitudes will change one day?
