2 months agoThe ship turned out to be quite good, with wooden paneling, predominantly Bordeaux color of the furniture. The cabin was wide enough and comfortable for two people, the bathroom and toilet were clean and with clean towels. There was cleaning every day. The windows of the cabin open, but be careful if you are at river level, there are many river traders who can directly enter the room if the window is open. The food was varied and thematic, the staff was friendly and responsive, most of them spoke English. Drinks are paid, and at the end of the stay the bill is settled at the reception. As prices, for coffee about 50 egp, beer 240, cocktail 250 egp, juice between 80 -150 egp. There is a bar and a disco, the deck has a small pool and sun loungers, a bar on the deck. The ship moves quickly, so we were told, compared to other ships on the Nile. The journey to the shore is interesting because you pass through the reception of the other ships, as they are lined up one after the other when they are not sailing. The Nile cruise is peaceful and full of beautiful views. I was there in March for 3 nights.

3 months agoThe cruise was good , the staff was good and hospital , every thing went good till the last day when I’ve encountered the manager of royal viking named Mohamed Omar , started with accusing me of stealing 300 Egyptian pound from the tips which suppose to be something be giving voluntarily , and he threatened me of killing me and throwing me of the boat , if that’s tourism I don’t want such bullshit , if that’s hospitality then royal viking have series problems , and if that’s the attitude of a Maneger an image and a representative of his company and tourism in Egypt in general , then we do have a series problem , I say a gain he threatened to kill me and through me of board of the cruise

4 months agoThe staff were very friendly and would fold towels into decorative shapes, creating a delightful surprise for guests upon entering their rooms. However, the wooden planks in the bathroom creaked underfoot, and overall, the rooms were neither new nor old.The attitude of some senior staff on the cruise ship was mediocre. One day, the itinerary was canceled due to an injury to another passenger, and the cruise company offered no explanation or compensation whatsoever, wasting the entire day on the ship. The cruise company prioritizes window seats for group passengers and then assigns tables to individual passengers, but it seems that those who argue get preferential treatment. One day, I saw two individual passengers arguing with staff to sit at their own table before being assigned to one.
