A plea to Representative Hisham Al-Rahmani: We, the parents of trainees in the Montazah district, are suffering from the intransigence of the medical committee at Abu Qir General Hospital. The hospital requires 100 trainees to attend the committee meeting at once! This condition is crippling us and preventing our children from participating in the upcoming championship immediately after Ramadan. We urge you to intervene with the Alexandria Health Directorate to lift this requirement and facilitate the medical examination procedures, for the sake of our children's athletic future.#AbuQirHospital #MontazahDistrict #MinistryofHealth #AlexandriaGovernorate

May God hold accountable everyone who caused my father's death. My father was in the ICU after a stroke. His condition was critical, and he couldn't move from his bed. Suddenly, we were pressured to take him out of the hospital under the pretext that they needed the bed and that he needed "home care."Home care?!A man who had just had a stroke and couldn't stand or speak properly—how could he be sent home?We took him out against our will, without them giving us a clear medical report or an official discharge paper explaining their responsibility for the decision. Even the state-funded treatment form we struggled to get was useless. The swindlers told us it was only for 24 hours of treatment! And on top of that, the hospital was filthy and unsanitary. I swear to God, there was a cockroach crawling on the patient's bed, and when you told the nurse, she just laughed and walked away! This is one of the most despicable and awful hospitals I've ever seen. May God hold you accountable! My father didn't even last 24 hours outside… and he passed away.Should he have stayed in intensive care?Should he have received the treatment he deserved?Or was his life less valuable than waiting for an empty bed?I'm not just sad… I'm heartbroken and devastated. What happened wasn't just fate; some people acted hastily and made a decision, and we paid for it with the most precious thing we had.May God hold accountable everyone who was negligent, everyone who put their own interests before a human life, especially the supervisor and the head of the department. May God hold you accountable!I'm so sorry, Dad… and God is the ultimate judge.
