My wife went there today because of ear problems after a double dive the day before.Since there was no one else in the practice, there was no waiting time.For Egyptian standards, the practice looked very tidy and clean at first glance.Dr. Heikal first listened to our medical history and examined our ears, nose, and throat.He then explained, using charts and in very good, yet easily understandable English, that the problem wasn't in our ears, but rather an allergic reaction in the nasal/throat area, probably triggered by the change in climate.He prescribed an antihistamine that is also safe for diving.We didn't have to pay anything, which surprised us greatly, as the entire treatment was very professional.We left a tip, which was more than deserved.I can highly recommend Dr. Heikal.

Dr. Heikal was very skillful, clear on his communication, very soft spoken and kind. He speaks perfect English.He was recommended by a free diving instructor, and I can see why. He was quick to address and soothe my worries (equalization related issue) and clearly explained everything around the body mechanics of equalization in a clear and concise manner.The centre uses a list to keep track of order. I recommend going at 9am and putting your name in the list. I signed at 9:20 and there was already five people above me. I was seen at 10:15. Alternatively you can go and sign at any time and then go other things for some time. He often gives estimations of how long you'd have to wait.Consultation price as of today is 300 Egyptian pounds. Please consider adding more as a donation.If your case needs medicines, he will prescribe them and there are pharmacies around that will quickly and cheaply honor the prescription.
