2 months agoA review from Taiwan 🇹🇼This hostel has very basic facilities, but its scenery and overall experience were the most unforgettable memories of my trip to Aswan. You can enjoy the Nile sunset from the riverside café across the street, and enjoy free kayaking. There are also many kayaks available for use, and life jackets can be borrowed from the staff if needed. Although prices weren't listed, I was told there was a 100 Egyptian pound charge for kayaking, but it was still well worth it because staff will assist you and keep an eye on your safety. The Nile's current is fast, and if you drift too far, they will even pull you back in a boat.Since there were few people, I had the entire six-person room to myself. The air conditioning was very strong, and the showerhead in the bathroom was a bit faulty. The staff and their families were very friendly. Although the location is in a village, it's actually only a ten-minute walk to the Old Falls Hotel and Carrefour, making daily shopping very convenient. We met many Chinese friends and friends from all over the world here. On our last night, we even cooked a spicy hot pot. The staff kindly helped us. If we come back to Aswan in the future, we will still consider staying here, but we hope that the shower facilities in the bathroom can be improved, hahaha!
