2 weeks agoRating: Warning about the Red Sea Hospital – Total Rip-off and Neglect!Stars: 1/5I am writing this review to urgently warn all tourists about this hospital. What we experienced here on June 13th is beyond belief in its incompetence, greed, and moral depravity. My son arrived at this facility with a burn on his hand. Instead of immediately addressing his pain and providing initial medical care, the very first question from the staff was: "Do you have German insurance?" The priority here is not patient well-being, but solely profit. After the child was finally "treated," the absolute shock came: I was charged €320 for a simple ointment and a bandage! When I inquired why the price was so exorbitant, the brazen reply was: "Because you're German." A blatant, discriminatory rip-off based on our nationality.``` And as if this exploitation weren't enough: despite the €320 I spent on a cheap bandage and some ointment, I still had to buy the necessary painkillers for my son myself afterward! You pay an exorbitant price, are treated outrageously, and don't even receive complete medical care. This has nothing to do with medical ethics – it's pure highway robbery. It's unbelievable that such conditions are tolerated in a tourist region. As a German tourist, you feel like a cash cow here, and in an emergency, you're shamelessly exploited instead of being helped.Anyone who has the choice should avoid this hospital like the plague. Anyone who goes here won't be healed, but rather financially and emotionally ruined. Absolutely irresponsible behavior!

2 weeks agoI just read some reviews, and it's awful what's being written here... I live in Hurghada, and yes, you do get sick sometimes. Through acquaintances, I ended up at this hospital. I had to go to internal medicine, and the doctor was very friendly and spoke a little German. He explained everything very well, prescribed medication, and I had to have blood drawn, which went perfectly. I went back the next day, discussed the blood test results, and had to get an IV drip. Everything went smoothly, and it felt no different than in Germany. The price for everything, 1650 pounds, is acceptable. I can only recommend it. Thank you for my recovery!
