Perched atop the Nile Zamalek Hotel, Rooftop Zamalek offers a unique bar experience with impressive views of the Nile in Zamalek, Cairo. This hidden gem is perfect for casual drinks, featuring an eclectic 1970s vibe complete with nostalgic music and distinctive decor. Visitors appreciate the attentive service and the reasonable prices on cold beers, making it a favored alternative to more commercial venues like the Hilton or Four Seasons. While the focus is on drinks rather than food, the scenic setting and relaxed ambiance make it a must-visit spot for those seeking a memorable evening overlooking the river.

in the last weekThe view and the nile at night are amazing, but unfortunately the service isn’t good enough and the staff aren’t very welcoming

a week agoGreat location in Zamalek with a beautiful rooftop view, but the experience was disappointing. The bar feels old, dusty, and neglected, with no fans or AC. The menu is very limited, service was slow, and the staff were rude and unwelcoming. No WiFi either. A great spot with wasted potential.

a week agoThe location of this rooftop is truly amazing, with beautiful views and great potential. Unfortunately, everything else was a big disappointment. The service was very poor. The staff seemed uninterested, and one waiter even asked for tips despite providing almost no service, which felt inappropriate. The place itself is not well maintained at all—tables were dirty, nothing was cleaned properly, and the overall condition feels old and neglected. It was also extremely uncomfortable due to the heat. There were no fans or any cooling system, which made it hard to enjoy the experience. The food was disappointing, and the wine serving was surprisingly small—more like a tea cup than a proper glass. It’s honestly sad to see such a great location not being taken care of. With proper management and attention, this place could be exceptional, but in its current state, it does not reflect well for visitors or tourism.
